Apple crumble 

I love making old style comfort food healthy. This apple crumble is both gluten and dairy free also vegan friendly. 

Ingredients 

5 Granny Smith apples ( peeled and sliced)

1/3 cup water

1tsp vanilla 

1 tbsp coconut sugar

Juice of 1/2 a lemon

1/2 tsp cinnamon and 1/4 tsp mixed spiced

In a saucepan over low to medium heat cook the above items until liquid is evaporated. This takes about 15 minutes. 

   
 
Topping ingredients 

3/4 cup quinoa flakes

3/4 cup almond flour 

1/4 cup Glutenfree self raising flour

4 tbsp coconut oil melted

3 tbsp coconut sugar 

3/4 of a tbsp maple syrup

1/2 tsp cinnamon 

Mix ingredients by hand in a bowl till it looks crumb like. Then place your apples in a oven proof dish and then add your topping. Bake in moderate oven for about 25 minutes.
